Shipping Disclaimer
During the warmer months, the chocolates are shipped requiring a signature at time of delivery. This insures that the package is delivered to a person either in a home or at a business and is not left at a door step or on a porch to be left susceptible to the elements. We encourage you to have the order shipped to a business address since there is usually a person to sign for the package at all times. The key is to get the package delivered as soon as possible and have the package handled and placed in a cool, at least room temperature environment and not left in the heat. The chocolate can not sit in the delivery truck or outside too long otherwise it will begin to melt. The package is packed with cold packs however, if product is not delivered to a business address or a home where it can be handled right away we will not be responsible for replacing the chocolates. We apologize but due to the sensitive nature of the chocolate pieces we have to list this disclaimer.
